  • What are integrated pathways?
    • Honors Integrated Pathways provide a foundation on which students can situate their majors and career aspirations. Each pathway requires that students live and work together (as a cohort over multiple semesters) in field environments and on campus. 
  • Do these pathways give me an opportunity to work with other organizations?
    • Yes. These minors include partnerships with other programs on campus as well as conservation and health organizations in other countries.
  • Are there scholarships available?
    • Yes. Priority scholarships will be given to applicants who apply by May 1, 2020.
  • Is it possible to do more than one international trip?
    • No. Each pathway includes field work in either Utah, Tanzania, Ghana or Argentina
  • I don’t know my major yet. Should I still apply for a minor?
    • Absolutely. In fact, these minors are designed to cover your general education requirements. They complement any major.
  • How does this cost compare to other options?
    • The cost to attend summer classes and live on the UofU campus is approximately $6,400 not including food costs. The integrated minors which include field experiences and excursions, food and travel cost no more than the on campus rate plus flights making these opportunities some of the least expensive abroad options.
